The clutch cable snapped at the linkage under the dash, the 65 monza coupe is now sitting at a supermarket about a mile away. Is it possible to start it in 1st gear and drive it home slowly (maybe jamming it into 2nd gear once and keeping it there until I get home), so that the car doesn't get towed tomorrow? -T
