<VV> Dimmer connector

Finally decided on a close look to just replace the dimmer connector and 
apply three insulated crimp-ons. Headlamps are noticably brighter and 
switch is not getting very hot now.

working and is probably typical of a forty year old connector. Not the 
interesting colour of the brass contact.

I suspect that many are in this condition particularly if sometimes hitting 
the dimmer switch produces off or flicker. May also explain some of the 
people who complain about dim headlamps.

Might also want to check the big connector by the engine bulkhead - 
headlights are certainly the biggest draw in the car.

Another tribute to just how bad something can get and still work.
