Human nature hasn't changed one little bit in the last 30 or 40 years.  There were dirtbags then and there are dirtbags now.  There were good people then and there are good people now.  There may be more opportunitites for dirtbags to  show their true colors nowadays but people are the same.    

ebay does have some kind of policy about items being "as advertised" and though they claim your bid is binding, they do recognize that you shouldn't have to buy something that wasn't described correctly.  Sellers are obligated to describe their wares correctly, it's not totally "buyer beware".  He'll leave negative feedback but so can Eric and ebay does have a rebuttal thingy too.

Human nature has changed - come on Georgey!!
