With the price of a nice geniune vair convertible headed straight up  ....
it won[t be long until it will be cheaper/easier/and geepers.. a better
performer ....... to purchase a kit car of a late model convertible .....
tube frame, Subaru drive train, rack & pinion steering, etc. etc. ....
comes in a big box .......  assemble as necessary ...
