Folks: Regarding my 69 Monza, no-start when it's been
sitting a few hours and still not cold...I got to work
around 9:15 this morning, went out around 12:30, car
is in the building garage and still a bit warm (not
hot, not cold).

Gently pressed the gas to the floor once, released
slowly. Heard a click in the engine compartment
(chokes being set?). Tried starting her, NO GO.

I then removed the aircleaner and air intake, noticed
both carbs had chokes SNAPPED SHUT. So, I held each
butterfly open and tried again.

She started right up.

I haven't memorized the choke adjustment procedures
yet so I'll have to wait until tomorrow when it's
light outside so I can see what I'm doing...unless
someone has a simple procedure to adjust before it
gets dark here (around 4:00 PM).

In any case, at least I know how to get the car going
should I encounter this problem again before I get a
chance to make the required adjustments.

I also noticed when she's running, when I remove the
vacuum hose from each carb, vacuum sound is pulsing,
not steady. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Thanks all!...Bill
