The early 80s were a bad time for performance and while the "Iron Duke" was 
a low point (and could not hop up because of a weak bottom end) there was 
also the quad-4. Slowest car I ever saw was a LeBaron rental I had briefly. 
Crossing a busy street was an agonizing experience. Despite that I suspect 
the honors probably go to a 6000 lb RV built in Pontiac that had a 2.4 
liter diesel.
