Go to Home Dep. and get duct seal, it is used for sealing duct work.  It is
a rectangle bar of gray putty and sells for about $ 2.  I have used it on
all three cars and it is close to he original putty. I use a fast food
plastic knife to cut it and then press it around the vent area.
