Well, guys, I just have to comment ... we are hearing about SW corvairs, and
I gotta say that is good for the home hobbyist that can bolt everything else
into a good non rusty body, but doesnt have the experience/equipment to cut
and replace rusty stuff.

However, I am willing to bet there are more 58 Cadillacs, 60 Buicks, 62 Chev
Convertibles, etc. etc. ..... in Garages, near mint shape .......... in the
wealthy areas of the NE... ok, from Jersey north .... than anywhere else
.... these were used by wealthy widows a couple trips somewhere or other
back 35 years ago, and might have 24K original miles, mostly forgotten by
non-car people.

I think the days of finding treasure in old barns in the Midwest might be
over, but I got my sources, and these forgotten goodies as above are now the
place to start mining..... probably throw in the wealthy areas in most us
cities I suppose, but I got " reliable reports " of such treasure being more
and more rediscovered ...

I guess these 80 year old widows dont read DealsOnWheels, etc., and probably
have their bills all paid by a trustee .... havent been out to their garage
for 31 years .. forgot they had a car ... if you go door to door and ask,
you might find an old Jag or something that they need new price for ...
$3600 for a 57 T-bird ...
******
The reason this comes up is because last night on My Classic Cars they had a
59? or so Cadillac Biarritz, which for some strange and bizarre (g) reason I
recognize as a long-lost toy that I desperately need.... I never had one,
but I remember back then seeing a few ... design somewhere between a 57
chev and a " real " caddy....
