Bob,

You can take this as hearsay if you so desire since I've never had an EM 
car.  BUT, you need to make sure the rockers are solid (no holes to allow 
water in) as the air heater pressurizes the rockers (on EM cars) on its way 
forward.  So, any leaks can let water in and hot air out.

This, of course, also means that when the rockers cool while the car is 
parked moisture (in the air) can/will condense inside the rockers and it 
will take some time for them to warm and dry out.  This will be one of the 
main reasons that it will take some time to be able to clear the windshield. 
You are not getting really warm/dry air up front until the rockers have 
warmed.

Of course, you COULD install a gasoline heater...  that will be fast - dry 
heat.

I have replaced all of the hoses from the engine compartment forward and the 
heater fan with one of higher volume. Are there any other suggestions out 
there for improving the system and for keeping all of the windows from 
fogging up?
