I have replaced all of the hoses from the engine compartment forward and the
heater fan with one of higher volume. Are there any other suggestions out there
for improving the system and for keeping all of the windows from fogging up?

Bob - Since your signature lists a convertible, if that's the car you're referring to then you need to make sure the hoses under the rear seat are intact and that the seals at the front floor outlets are in good shape - otherwise you lose some heat at both places. It really helps to keep your windshield clean also - since any film/haze on the inside of the windshield will cause fog to form quickly. Also, if your lower engine shrouds are not sealed well (foam seals available from Clark's) then cold air/water can easily get in and cause windshield fogging. I usually get the best defroster performance with both the "heat" and the "air" levers depressed.

Or...just install a gasoline heater! ;-)
