<VV> Corvair Fuel problem

I think my 65/110/pg has a bad fuel pump. If I crank the motor with the
fuel lines disconnected at the carbs, no gas comes out. If I prime with
starting fluid, it runs for a couple seconds, and no gas comes out.

Now manual or electric...

Anything else I can try. The full story is below.

Occasionally it has acted like it was starved for fuel. Maybe 2X a season.

Filled up the tank 2 days prior (drove maybe 50 miles).

Kept stalling for the 3 mile trip. Getting harder and harder to restart.
Limped it home. Stalled in the driveway, pushed it into the garage.

Figured the dwell was off. Cleaned the points. Re-gapped. Steady, 31 degree.

Would not re-start.

Replaced the fuel filter... Cleaned the tank and replaced the rubber lines
at the beginning of the season.

Replace the filter again.

Cranked...no start.

Disconnected both fuel lines at the carbs. Cranked, no gas. Primed
starts, and runs for a couple seconds. No gas.

Put the fule pump inlet line into a gas can. Made sure the line was in the
gas. Tried again...no start.

Anything else I should try, or is the pump dead. It is almost 10 years old.
