As almost always, Smitty, you are not wrong. It's a simple matter of 
using clean surfaces, clean new gaskets and some sort of sealer (Here I 
prefer Aviation-3). With 24 or whatever 3/8 long bolts, I mean really.  
Furthermore, this can only leak from internal crankcase pressure  at 
that location - not regular oil pressure.  Lon
