I want to thank all the guys who have responded to my plight. The stud is still seized,but I feel ok about it.I received many good ideas. Will keep at it. I am as grateful for the encouragement as I am for the ideas. If necessary,a rebuild would be an interesting project.  I am taking a one day break from it,knowing that excessive frustration leads to carelessness.I sure don't want to make the situation worse.
