Sam and Marissa. If you can make the noise go away by pulling in on the
latch at speed then you should be able to tighten things up. Clean both ends of
the roll pin that holds the handle on, apply Liquid Wrench and use an
appropriate sized drift, punch or a finishing nail (the head of the nail on the roll
pin--tap the pointed end of the nail) to drive the roll pin out. Slide the
latch handle off with the wavey pressure washer. The wavey round washer can be
made a litlle more "wavey" to put more pressure on the latch to hold the window
a little more tightly or you can buy a new one. You should also take an old
tooth brush and thoughtly clean and then lubricate the rubber seal with a
rubber restorer--even windshield washer fluid will work--to clean the rubber seal
area so it looks and feels like new rubber--but don't use Armorall (unless you
just want to make the rubber shiny).

Reinstall the wavey washer and latch handle using the roll pin to secure it.
If the old roll pin breaks or is lost you can buy a replacement at your local
hardware store--they are generic.

It is amazing how much quieter a tight wing window makes the car at speed.

Best of Luck,
