when i talk about turbo mufflers , i am talking about CORVAIR original  
equipment   turbo mufflers , not aftermarket "turbo" mufflers , which  there are 
many different designs , some including baffles or glass added. its  just 
another case of wording to cause another thread on virtual vairs??
just go to your flaps and get the muffler book out.  look at the last  
section of drawings and specs. there are several good possibilties , if you look  at 
the measurements and drawings , paying attention to shell length , pipe sizes 
 , and location. another good one i used years ago was early chevy  ..52 or  
so.  quieter  , with much less restriction. nice tone. now go to  the 
glasspack replacement for that or  a "jcwhitney"?  or just do it  right and order one 
from our corvair vendor that has done the work for  us. its playtime boys...
