<VV> Electric Power for Corvairs?

I have seen a Corvair electric on the street, probably 5 - 10 years  
ago now.  In Virginia, about two miles from Fairfax Circle in Fairfax  
city.  Looked like an ordinary Marina Blue late model Monza coupe,  
but when it pulled away silently I noticed the tag said "Corvolt".   
Never saw nor heard of it again.
