Sounds like you are at a disadvantage ..due to your Handyman business/ tools
to carry....unless light ones...

High inflation pressure and Synthetic grease on all four wheel bearings and
transaxle will make a big difference....with little effort...

If only around town........

Make sure the engine runs HOT! I use a plate ontop of the T-stat bracket to
slow the opening of the Doors......quicker / hotter warm-ups 325 F head
temps..setting in driveway.....and BOTH doors will open standing still!

Keep the Summer- Winter Plate OFF unless overheating occurs

Keep your 3.55's and short shift 1/2/4 when possible

And the ONE that will cause controversy.... Jet RICH.....so rich that you
can disconnect the accelerator pumps and not hesitate after the chokes have
opened.........*

110 /4 speed 66 vert 3.89's / 26" rear tires......all highway..100F+ 34
mpg over 430 miles...Lake Tahoe to Summit [ above San Bernardino ] 70mph!!
+9 mpg over previous high...

Think how much your accel. pumps are used around town!!!!
