well I spoke too soon--went for a test drive and 2nd and 4th felt like they 
were off line on the shift--felt the shifter move over slightly when pulled 
down for the gear--slight grinding also with clutch in---got back to shop to 
put on lift and now no reverse again*%$#%%$#@@##$$%
