FW: <VV> More Mystery Parts

Bill... I missed the beginning of this. Are we supposed to guess? Smitty
will win the prize. What is it - a telescope in outer space??

I suspect the #5 parts are for the top irons on an early vert. That is
really a guess since I never had one or looked at the top parts (EM) that
closely.

Later, JR

Nope.

However, #4 is a shield for something. Maybe the rust is a clue for where
on the car? Only found on a very small percentage of Corvairs, none were
1960s.

#5 (hardware) is not for seatbelts - too small. I realize there was no
scale in the picture, but try figuring it out based on the number of
different paired items, etc. Hint: you won't find these on every Corvair,
and certainly not on any 1960-61 Corvairs.

Alrighty. I'm going to take a stab at it.

I'll say #4 is a gas heater heat shield. #5 are seatbelt mounting hardware.

Just a guess.

Joel

Pop Quiz! Can you identify the parts below?

(I can't, but I'm assured they are Corvair!)

Joel

If you have all had enough of Communiqué delivery times, electric cars,
non-Corvair Chevrolets, and other nonsense, maybe you'd like to take a look
at my latest Mystery Parts postings. They ARE Corvair parts.
