Ifthey are NOT  Calif.  Non-op'd... make sure and get something showing 
there were stored in Colo.!  Otherwise you'll pay for anything since the 
tags expired in your state...

Other than that..a no brainer....    I'll ask at the local DMV and see if 
I'm right..
