My Crown V-8 is back from being painted.? While putting pieces back on, I've noticed pitting?of the interior and exterior chrome, door handles, etc.??Does pitting begin?in the base metal?and work itself out, or does the chrome deteriorate?? Can a heavy coat of wax prevent pits indefinitely?
