Mark-I'm not that paranoid about it.  If someone wants to steal something bad enough they will and I don't think a registry will lead to a major (or minor) theft ring of our Corvairs.

Therein lies a good question. What are the good points in having a car
registered with ANY kind of register? Likewise the bad points - I can
think of at least one. If someone has a hankering to steal such a car,
guess where he'd be interested in looking first.
