Water Cooled Heads Re: <VV> Re: reviving the Corvair

Not that early. The 959 had wet heads. Purely because 4 valves per cylinder  
and their ports took up WAY too much fin area, and blocked too much cooling 
air  flow. There may have also been some race engines made this way. 
Still, if you're going to water cool the heads, why not the whole thing?

Didn't  Porsche have a run of racing cars in the late 1970's and early 1980's
with  water-cooled heads?  I think the 936 and 956 both had that  setup.
