<VV> Mufflers

Yes, race cars are loud, but you don't drive them for hours at a time
everyday like a commuter here would. Your ears can stand very loud noise
for short periods of time, but extend that time and ear damage is very
very real. This is not a laughing matter, as when the damage is noticed,
it is too late to go back and protect the ears.

You only have good ears once. Take care of them.

Hearing aids are not as easy to use as glasses. You could buy several
Corvairs for the price of ONE hearing aid. And they don't last forever....

I had the smaller outlet trombones on a 64 sedan (110 PG) and there was
a terrible resonace about 45 mph. I finally took them off (were rusting
out in one spot quickly) and used a dual set up with Sears Muzzlers.
Didn't sound quite as good as the trombones, but there was no resonace
problem at 45 mph. Plus lifetime warranty at the time ( mid 80's).
Although I never needed it as they were still in use when the car was
totalled in 1999.
