<VV> Early Spyder fuel return

While we're talking about pressure regulators, I'm about ready to install a
in tank pump.  I know the world is full of pressure regulators, both good
and bad.  What unit is recommended?

I'd humbly disagree with you on that one.  Other VV turbo owners
(including me) reported YH carbs that flood at idle if the return line
was clogged.  I chose to use the regulator and maintain the return line.
It enabled me to return the float level to spec and I can idle without
flooding.
