	It's an official RANT ;>)
Got the Clark's bushing kit. Installed it and ended up
squishing one slightly, so be careful when installing. I needed to
lightly file.
Still shifts as good as the day I installed and better six years later
than my son's '95 SHO manual (faint praise, but it's the only other
manual I drive...)

completely dissagree! I used clarks brass bushing and hated it, you have
to use
set screws through your tube and i always had binding problems and it
caused a
vibration in my shifter. I've never used plastic ones but the delrin
ones from
corvair underground are great, self=lubricating, press fit, easy install
and i
recomend front and "rear". I would also use CU's polygraghite stabelizer

bushing. I have rebuilt dozens of shift tubes with these and never had a
problem
and gives a solid shifter feeling.

Oh thank goodness, a Corvair-related controversy.

I've got a Clarks bushing kit that I've been too lazy to install. now I
see this criticism of the kit. What's the story here guys? Who has the
Clark's bushing kit installed and who likes it or doesn't like it?
Inquiring minds want to know!
