Subject:	62 MONZA 900 FOR SALE IN SOCAL...

a fellow around the corner is reluctantly looking to sell his '62 monza
900...car is located in santa margarita, ca...i offered to help him by
snapping these pics and putting the word out to this e-group. i'm not a
mechanic, and i've not heard this car run nor been in it for a
drive...that said, car looks straight - no dents or dings to speak of,
and seems to have potential for the right person (body and powertrain
knowledge)...all the glass is there and the brightwork looks ok. dash
area looked good...david says it's been tough to start lately but runs
good when warmed up - said steering was pretty loose at highway
speeds...also said it had been parked for about 20 years before he
bought it a few years ago...does have some rust issues particularly
around the rear window...more than anything i'd say this car needs a
loving home and an owner who'll make her purr again...i'm happy to
answer any general questions, but that's about what i know. fyi, david
has a price in mind that didn't sound unreasonable, so if interested,
suggest giving him a call or email...contact info is:

David Hernandez dhernandez at spasciences.com 714-914-8230

also, these are david's comments on the car...

Engine: 102 (I think) / 4-speed...Body/Exterior: Needs work and new
paint, has some car cancer that will need some good bondo or welding
work...Interior: Has a ton of original stuff but needs some upholstery
work on the doors and the seats and maybe the floors...Pluses: Has a
lot of original features...Mileage: Unsure, odometer stopped
turning...Chassis: Drives ok but I think this year needed some
modification to make it safe to drive

thx.
