The one good thing is that those kind will eventually die off, and
hopefully their false stories will die with them. You and I may not live
to see the day when all such stories have been forgotton, but with the
younger generation (especially the ones that don't realize the car was
ever built) we already can see that better days are coming.

It's that younger generation that I love to encounter. Usually they know
nothing of the bad stories and are completely open to all the good
things about the car. Besides, who knows if one of them might become a
Corvair owner? No better time to promote the marque than that.

It's the idiot newspaper columnists that subscribe to the stupid notion
of "fair and balanced" (instead of the traditional journalistic standard
of "objective and impartial") that always have to dredge up Ralphie. It
doesn't matter that he's been disproven, those kind of op-ed writers
think they have to present "the OTHER side", which only makes for bad
journalism. We need to return to traditional journalism standards.
