<VV> Spring Fever

The weather is so crummy today here in Michigan that I just had to go out in
the garage and start up the vair for awhile. Its so cold in the garage,
(not heated) that I haven¹t been able to do much so far this year. I KNOW
it¹s dumb to start it up out of winter storage for no particular purpose,
but having a near fatal case of spring vair fever, I just went ahead and did
it. Started a little hard, and idled a bit rough for a couple of minutes,
then that wonderful rackety air cooled engine smoothed out and ran nice and
smooth.

I checked out the cruising supplies, the new extra fan belt and the tool
kit. Ran the heater and enjoyed the new high output heater fan and the new
clean heater ducts awhile.

Then got to wondering. How hard would it be to hook up an mp3 input jack to
an FM converter equipped car? My 63 Monza has an original AM radio with an
FM converter. Has anyone out there ever tried to hook an mp3 player to the
FM converter? Or would it be easier cheaper to just spend the 75 to 100
clams for a radio that has a jack built in already? I would love to hear
from anyone with experience in this kind of madness.

Final note: While I was outside playing with the vair, my neighbor stopped
by and gave me some information about the new breast cancer fund raiser
postage stamp. I¹m pretty sure it would violate our posting rules if I
included it here, but if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me
direct and I will be glad to send it to you.
