As you've heard the gauges are for REFERENCE only.......if it ever changes 
from what is normal to YOU...then look for a problem!

To see if the engine is really hot....too hot.....pull to the side of the 
road and grab the dipstick!  If you can hold onto it...you're not too hot...

Vapors??  Do you mean Vapor loc??     or it stalls,  or it  dies while 
driving?
