<VV> '66 corsa VIN identification etc.

I'd like to have the money back too! :-)

Mike--in your transcribing of the tag, the ST I on the line that begins
66-10737 and the TR is on the 758-E line. The top line 0C2 E does not
have letters preceding it.

Mike,

Not sure why you would want to part it out, but as I've always said, if
you have a good body, you have a good car. If you have a bad body, you
have a parts car, no matter what it is.

Granted, some cars can be pretty rough and be brought back to life. Just
look at what Kent Sullibvan did with that '66 Canadian Corsa. Granted
too, it is probably one of only 10 surviving cars, but I sure would like
to have the money he dumped into it's restoration. I doubt that he'll
ever live to recoup his investment, but then, it was a labor of love.

As to your car, if you could rationalize its restoration, by all means
do so. Any a/c convert is special, even more so a Corsa, and a nicely
equipped one at that. Best of luck with it!

I'll try to describe the body tag cause I can't find all the things I need
to identify. If I remember some past communications, there are only about
100 corsa A/C coupes. I'd rather restore and sell it than strip it for the
valuable parts.

telescoping wheel, F & R bumper guards, hood and trunk light. It looks
original except for a complete repaint (red) a decade or two ago. I believe
it was originally dark blue.
