Another interesting Corvair side bar to the story, longtime CORSA 
member and Corvair owner, Tony Kruzich, lived
in Detroit and watched the progress of the construction of the 
BatMobile by Barris. During the same times, Tony
was customizing a 1953 Chevy coupe which was painted the purple paint 
color of the 1955 Lincoln and used the
slanted Dodge headlights on his Chevy.
