Gene, sorry for the slow response, I was on vacation for a while...

Anyway, it's relatively easy to do this, all that is necessary is to make a 
pair of spacers that correctly locate the FC axle bearing in relation to 
the EM trailing arm (and to install longer retaining studs).  In my case, I 
complicated it by making two spacers per side, one to correctly locate the 
LM brake backing plates, since I was using LM brakes all around, and then 
one on top of that for the bearing.

Note, tire selection becomes limited by this change, and wheel selection 
even more so!  Note also, that I consider this change to be unnecessary for 
autocross, I did it for high-speed track events.
