Jack the car up securly on jack stands and run the drivetrain. Listen 
for chirp.

Or, dissassemble u-joints for inspection.

My bet is u-joints. If axle (as in differential) bearings are chirping, 
it is out of gear lube and the grinding will begin shortly.
