Many sizes and shapes of under vehicle air tanks are available at your 
nearest heavy truck parts store.  These are the same tanks used for 
air-brake equipped vehicles.  One great feature is that almost all have 
brackets or mounting ears already welded on for easy installation.

An alternative idea for on-board air is to obtain a used CO2 tank. (Check 
at a welding or beverage supply house)  Since compressed CO2 condenses to 
and is stored as a liquid, even a modest sized bottle contains quite a 
large volume of gas.
