I've had success putting a jack under the wheel and jacking it up (slowly and carefully). At some point, most of the twist goes away and you can get the bolts in. Car on jackstands of course. I'm pretty sure I had the wheel off and jacked at the control rod connection point at the backing plate. Hey, it worked, alright? mikeH
