In today's "Autoweek Daily Drive" (internet daily update for Autoweek subscribers) there is a photo gallery of the Walter Mitty in Latest News, Photo Specials, 30th Mitty. Photo #6 of 32 shows a (late) Corvair racing with Porsches, Mustangs, a C2 Corvette, a Trans Am and an Alfa. It looks like a class of Trans Am cars. The Corvair doesn't have a Yenko stripe, just a solid turquoise (?) with white circles for the number which is illegible in the photo. It looks like the car is in a sedan class and it may even be a (sport) sedan. It is hard to tell from the angle. HSR (who puts on the Mitty) is very particular about the Pedigree of the cars it allows to run so the car may be an original Trans Am participant. Does anyone know whose car it is?
