Hear Hear!

"My truck <and my trailer> runneth over." We were there "on time", right at
12pm, and there were already piles made.

My short bed pickup is sitting in the yard mounded over with stuff from
Ted's home and shop. The trailer is covered with doors, a deck lid, a hood,
about 6 bumpers 3 of which have bumper guards, and shelves.

My dear ole dad, you have to watch him every minute. We turned our back and
all of sudden, he'd purchased 2 vans and the EM water damaged 4 door. :S
Oh crap, how to get them home? It's not like we don't have 30 cars sitting
around with parts in them already! Regardless, we're heading back tomorrow
with 2 trucks and 2 trailers for another day of Corvair parts transport.

Thanks to Ted for allowing us to participate in finding all these parts a
new home. Thanks to Chuck for letting us know of the sale. Although
everyone left happy, I'm sure it's bitter sweet for Ted.

>Well, we learned a hard lesson. Don't show up 15 min late to the Corvair
>table, you might go hungry. The street was already packed when we got
>there.
>By 12:15 at least 3 complete motors were spoken for and piles of other
>goodies. When I say piles think 2.5 ft high and 6 to 8 ft in dia. Luckily
>we
>did get some EM leftovers, clutch plates, flywheels and such. There were
>guys from South Carolina, thanks again for the 63 heat shield, Alabama,
>thanks for the flathead screwdriver, and others. Everybody was having a
>blast and helping out anyone who had a question about anything. Ted was
>throughout a humble host while giving away years of great stuff to a crowd
>of undoubtedly grateful friends.
>
>Again, thanks Ted.
