Ran the Rally (or was it the econo-run) prior to the Concours once. It
rained the day of the Rally. for the Cole competitors and for those just
opting to do both the Rally and Concours, it was just not good.
The NECC event is coordinated with the convention, but it is not officially
part of the convention.

I encourage everyone to try for the Cole award (do all the events, Rally,
econo-run, Concours and Auto-cross) its a fun challenge.

I also would encourage everyone to try the track event. I'll be doing
Concours with my 68 Fitch Sprint (won gold at lexinton after doing the
drags) My 68 is not nearly as nice as Chuck's masterpiece, but it did
clean up well. (I'll be lucky to get Silver this year)

To help me prep for Concours, I decided to skip the timed portion of the
track event. It is for the fast guys. Fun but I can afford to miss that
part, i suppose. Running at speed, for my car, is what is fun. and every
once in a while, I am in front of the Leveques and Sadeks and Coffins and
......at least until the next straight where they are allowed to pass me
<grin>

but still had a grin from ear to ear.
