I had one response from VV regarding request for Proteco plates examples
for my research.

I am opening up the request up to any 65-69 Protecto plate as I need to
increase my sample size.

Here is an example of two plates that Phil Richardson sent me and I
decoded for him.

I hope the formatting doesn't get all jumbled up.

Subject: <VV> Protecto Plates

I am working on a little write up for decoding Corvair protecto plates.
So far there are distinct differences between the 65, 66-68, and 69
stamping patterns.

I have examples of 65 and 66-68 but am lacking a Protecto plate from a
1969 Corvair.

Does anyone have a legible picture or scan of a 1969 Protecto plate they
would be willing to email to me?

I will decode it for you in return for the favor if you would like.
