<VV> How accurate is your fuel gauge?

Actually, both of my fuel gauges are/were accurate, at least near empty.  
(Alas, no I only have one car) The first half seems to be right, the third  
quarter seems to go pretty fast and the last quarter seems to go very slow. I  have 
had fill ups of more than 13 gallons.
