<VV> Argghhh...Stinking Heater Woes!

I always run a CO detector in my Vairs during the heating season. A few years back, it identified a blown out packing. One day it was good, the next my detector was screaming. I would no longer run a Corvair in the winter with out one.

As we all know, carbon monoxide is a tasteless, colorless, odorless poison that can very well find its way into our passenger compartments. Anyone using a CO detector in their vehicles? If so, where was it obtained from?> Timothy Shortle in Durango Colorado.
