<VV> Front suspension rebuild advice

Those of you that take the springs out after the suspension is out of the

car will be freed from your old experience the very first time something
slips
and a spring comes flying out ... IF it does not get you on the way by
... GGGGG

Dude.....how the hell do you think GM built the car?  The gig with the
threaded rod works great.....so does an internal spring compressor.
