I have never had a switch that couldn't be removed with an oil pressure 
sender socket. Sometimes the socket was at an angle, but it worked fine. 
Most times even the gas line can be left in place. Some sockets require 
a little grinding wheel work to clear the pulley, as reported by Tim Colson.

Now the generator bolts, that's another story, especially the '64 OEM 
style with the large pulley. The pulley must be removed to get to the 
generator bolts.
