<VV> computer geek help needed (no Corvair)

I had the same problem a few years ago. Sounds like you need a new power
supply. They're usually on sale somewhere for $40-$50.

btw- There's nothing wrong with custom/home builts. I've always built my own
and hardly ever have a problem.
