Jason, the replica battery should not go south quickly if you have a trickle
charger on it. Those help a lot with replica batteries.

I have a 1960 700 and need to replace the battery. There was a replica of
the original that just does not hold a charge anymore. I do not want to use
another one of thses types. Does anyone know if a regular car battery will
work ok or do I have to get another replica. Thanks all. Jason
