Just renewed my subscription to Consumers reports.

They rate the AutoZone Durlast battery very well.

2 year replacement warrant $ 59.00

According to them, not all batteries are created equally.

I also learned that you can buy a hot zone - for the South and cold zone for the North.

Cold cranking amps seemed natural for the North but the hot zone performs better in the heat.

As a perpetual Northerner, who would have thunk? Learn something new every time I read.
