Bob,

Check (I know it means pulling the engine AGAIN) to make sure the clutch 
disk isn't in backward. Another possibility is a riveted clutch disk 
rubbing on the flywheel bolts. Are you sure you don't still have a mix 
of flywheel and pressure plate parts?
