<VV> LM gas tank filler neck

The factory most likely installed the gas tank before the front suspension.
It is a really easy install with the front crossmember out.

Do you suppose they had as much trouble at the assembly plant putting those
filler necks on?  I've been through it and know what you're all taking

 I've done a early tank before and know that everything has to come down to
install the neck and vent hose(what a JOY that was).
Do I have to drop everything on a LM to do the same? It looks like there's
access to everything from the wheel well if I don't have arthritis or
something. Basically what I'm looking for is an easy way out. Is there
one???
