Well, yes, sort of. You'll need to get one of those inline gearbox thingies to get the ratio correct. If memory serves me, EMs use the standard GM 1000 revs/mile, whereas the LMs use 825 revs/mile, since they are direct drive from the wheel. Find a speedo shop, online or otherwise, and they can hook you up.

Several people have replied - thanks.  Unfortunately, I failed to mention that 
my friend plans to use a LM transaxle; thus he can't use the EM speedo cable.
So, do you believe a LM speedo cable will drive an EM speedometer?
